Valletta Basketball Club is Malta's overseas professional club, FIBA licensed, competing under the Malta Basketball Association, with players EuroBasket eligible from their first game.
The club fields two competitive squads: a 1st Division side in the Malta league and a 2nd Division squad developing the next contracts.
What makes Valletta different is the pathway. Through Huskies USA, the club runs a working development program across Vancouver and Orlando, training North American players, competing them in the Overseas Premier League, and signing the ones who earn it. Not a trial. Not a camp certificate. A contract.
